FL-400S C&P

From a recent oil change on my 3.8L Jeep Wrangler. Filter has 4,000 miles with PYB 5w-30. Looks good with no issues noted. Center tube has holes.

Another FL-400S. I've been using these on my Jeep since it was new. Never had a problem with them.

i just cut open a Motorcraft 820-s with low mileage that i took off because i wanted to replace it with an ultra but the filter looked pretty good maybe rough edges on the base plate but other than that it looks good it also had round holes in the center tube of course if it had louvers it would not have been on one of my engines.

I use the Fl 910 on my Focus and it always looks fine. The 910, designed for the Focus, is the shorter version of the 400.
