Oil for '16 Fiesta ST

Can anyone confirm what oil ford recommends on these cars in Europe?

Also, would it make sense for warranty track records to go in to ford for the oil filter at least? I wouldn't mind a taller filter for it too but god forbid an engine failure happens, they may use this to deny my claim

I buy all my filters from the manufacturer (not necessarily the dealership) during the warranty period. I highly recommend it.

Kia issued a bulletin around 2011 regarding excessive valvetrain noise in the 2.4 GDI, (I had a Forte Koup at that time). This was found to be caused by excessive restriction in certain aftermarket filters. That was enough for me to stick with OEM until the warranty expires.

My Nissan Rogue 2.5L wouldn't run quietly with a pn26300 35503 KIA/Hyundai mann+hummel korea filter installed due to excessive restriction I assume(?) Had to go to the Nissan V8 truck filter pn to quiet the engine. Car also ran excellent on the very pricey Honda S2000 filter.

Well, it appears that Australian and NZ Fiesta ST's call for 5w30 oils. Us and the Uk are on the 20w wagon.
