Air filter cross-reference for Generac 0C8127

FYI:
Wix 49227 is a direct replacement for Generac 0C8127.
I put one into my Model 005242 13kW standby generator today, and it fit *perfectly*.

I've found a lot of online references claiming FRAM CA101 can replace 0C8127, but this is not true. The CA101 filter has about a 3/16" smaller diameter than the Generac filter, and has to be bent to fit into the air intake.

as others have noted in the oil filter forum, Wix 51394 is a direct replacement for Generac #070185B.

Some aftermarket filters don't fit and are inferior. Fram's own catalog does say the CA101 for your Generac application.

But Wix usually does a good job
