Just bought one. Taking delivery tonight or tomorrow. It has just the options I wanted...none. Silver with 5 speed manual. Tax. tags, Documentary, Title charge...$13444 OTD

I know I could have done better but it was the only one like it (silver/manual/optionfree in 500 miles. Anyone have one?

I believe the 1.4 non turbo (98 hp)is all that is offered.

I drove the 1.4 Turbo 6 speed. Very quick.

I had one as a rental.

No Comment. And I like micro cars and sub compacts.

Auto trans can kill any small car spark though ...

Hope U like Yours.

I would suggest a Rio but learned over the years the compact class is WAY better and only slightly mo money.

Recently Owned past decade or so:
Aerio SX 2wd (my 1995)
Rio5 door (best in class handling, wimpy engine and shifter/trans)
Toyota Yaris ( peppy engine, garbage front suspension)
Honda Fit. (over priced 12$ car) Not as fun as Yaris.

Best small car from past :

1976 Fiat 3p

Good price.

Although if I wanted a cheap little car I'd probably get a Hyundai Accent. $11,235.

To each there own but for $13k you could buy a couple year old Civic. A lot more car and will still outlast the new Chevy.

I thought you held that title.

I sure Al will enjoy his purchase; I don't suspect he will be doing x-country or 30K a year in it.

Civic is a great car. But I wanted "less" car size. New is a must as this will be my last new car. To each his own

I will be brutally honest. I am no fanboy of any car. Ask folks on subaruforester.org.

Do you have a crystal ball? So since it is a Honda....
It's bullet proof and will last "forever". What a joke.

Especially when you have no idea how the vehicle has been treated or if the owner got rid of it for a reason. I see no reason why the Spark can't go 100K miles...I will be slobbering in a nursing home by then.

Never said it will last "forever." You really think a Daewoo is better than a Honda?

Oh, Al, I forgot I owned a Justy 3 cyl. That was fun. Only 5900 bucks new.

I am/was AlleyCat on Subaruforester.org

Actually that's my wife's login.

The guys there always hit on me, say "I will come over and help you change your oil"

LOL. < (first time I typed "LOL" in my life, seems apropos here)

I'm hoping the new Spark doesn't have issues with the AC not working and tossing the cam chain like the last one.

I could see myself picking up in a few years for a commuter.

Ummm Daewoo was dismantled and no longer exists. Spark is a division of GM. (GM Korea)
Actually Daewoo made a pretty good product. My daughter owned on for 8 years. Zero Problems.

Easy to throw stones..thats what occurrs on BITOG..lol.

Your spark isn't a Crown Victoria with Michelin tires, so it's going to get some criticism here unfortunately.
