Even if the previous poster was talking about gasoline engines (OP has a diesel), then didn't Honda have its own proprietary spec (HTO-06) for its turbo engines in not so distant past?

At least you can find out what the VW spec entails, what tests it needs to pass, etc. With this HTO-06 spec, I haven't been able to find much.
