Diesel OCI question

My ML 320cdi has become a garage queen connected to a battery tender. I may put 5k miles on her in a year. I normally change the oil(Mobil 1 esp) about every 7-8k. I went 9500 one time and oil analysis showed iron @ 60+ and TBN of 2. So I'm wondering if I should change it every year or is it ok to leave that contaminated oil in there for a couple yrs. FYI
I love the vehicle.
It's paid for.
I'm retired and won't be able to afford another vehicle like it.

Well, 2 years seems like too much miles for the oil, but I suppose you could change every 18 months, one year just after winter, the other just after summer. Much more agreeable temperatures for that kind of work anyway. You'll end up with about 7-8k on the oil like that.
