I have a 2016 Ford escape and the front windshield moulding are coming off.Ford used a very thin strip of adhesive to secure the moulding to the cars body. The dealership tried to use adhesive tape but that did not work.Because Ford can't order the two moulding by themselves the whole front windshield must come out just to replace two front windshield moulding.A very poor design indeed.i'm glad it's still under warranty.Joe

Give it 10 years and the replacement parts wont even be available, what will people do then.....

At least you have molding-the Transit in my sig has NO molding on the sides or top-one unlucky rock hit, the windshield is toast. Which is what happened last week, right on the edge, instant 1 foot long crack. Ford & their "better ideas"!

At least I wasn't paying for it myself!

I have had rocks hit Ford windshields before and cracked them.
