Very happy with this report.

Vehicle is driven by the wife 35 miles one-way each day to work, and not much else. Long highway runs at speeds between 60mph and 80mph depending on the route she takes.

Looks like the viscosity is lower than it should be (flagged by the lab). this was a full winter's worth of driving, so if I were to guess the reason I'd say it is due to slight fuel dilution.

I'm not going to worry about it, the wear numbers look great.

this car is going to get 10k OCI with AFE 0w30 all year long going forward.
I might sample again, but this is the worst possible scenario for this vehicle (winter driving), so if it held up well for this OCI, I'm confident with this OCI and this oil.

no make up oil in this 9,500 mile run.
Oil filter was a Napa Gold
Air filter is a Fram Tough Guard which was new for this OCI.

Does look pretty good. Is the viscosity a bit low though for a 30?? It's very close if nothing else. I would think this oil by Castrol would maintain its viscosity a bit better due to it being a potential 15k mile oil.

Sorry, typo on my code script. It is indeed M1 afe 0w30. I'll fix my script.

I too, was surprised at the viscosity, but it didn't appear to bother anything.

Just for consistency's sake I fixed my code so I don't forget.

what surprised me the most was the TBN of 2.2 on 9,500 miles with no makeup oil.
and an iron rate staying right at 1ppm/1,000 miles

No make-up oil is indeed impressive IMO! Did you break it in "by the book", or a bit harder than recommended?

we bought it used with 60k on the clock from her uncle (who bought it new).

he's a pretty easy going fellow, so I'd suspect he drove it like an old man from mile Zero.

my wife also drives like an old man ... or old woman.
