This UOA IS out of my 2002 Protege Oil was in use from 195k to 199k miles. People have been commenting about the Quakerstate Defy SN having lower levels of Zinc. Based on this UOA My zinc levels went up quite a bit over my last oil change with Castrol edge. This had one quart top off of castrol edge. It also has nice levels of Moly it seems!

Looks very good

It's lower phosphorous. Phosphorous is in between the 600 min and 800 max for SN/SM rated oils. The Defy SL version was 1000 limit.

The SN limit on Zn is 800ppm, but I think they allow up to a 10% 'margin of error' to still be in compliance...that means up to 880ppm. If I am wrong, and it is 15%, that would be up to 920ppm.

I think QS 'plays' with that limit on the Defy line, so they have a strong oil that is still SN-compliant...hence here you have 922ppm of Zn. sneaky, but it works.

Also, with the move to lower Zn amounts, QS upped the moly content in this oil - used to be in the 50-70ppm range, now it is over 150.

Nice to see this is still a strong, loaded oil!
