Are OTC fuel injector cleaners & gas treatments worth it?

Techron and Chevron are great, but expensive, I will recommend Lucas / Royal Purple instead. Also check other Best fuel injector cleaner reviews here.

Well how often are you using it that price even factors into the decision?

I've only used fuel injector cleaner once, on my BMW when I had a rough idle. It turned out to be a pushed-back pin in the wiring harness. So I really don't get why it is necessary at all, but if you do how often are you using it?
