My mother has one and I keep up the maintenance on it.
It's her dog car.
It sat for many months in the garage.
She started driving it for a few weeks and put 400 miles on it.
Sounds good- everything looks fine. No oil burning.

The exhaust is clear but smells exactly like paraffin wax melting.
On her second tank- TT fuel. Any reason for this???
Water pump, timing belt, hoses etc all newer.
Oil is 5w30 Havoline HM with Fram Ultra
Car has 165K on the motor- doesn't burn oil

That ain't a bad idea- thanks- I drove around a few the other day in my car.

+1 I feel like something is melted to the exhaust.

Check under the hood too for anything out of place. Wire or hose close to exhaust. Mice dragging in nest material.

I have one with 205K miles on it. Great car. They are known to leak oil at the valve cover gasket. Mine had no measurable oil consumption ever, as measured by the dipstick, in 7500 mile OCI's. But it was leaking enough to get oil in the spark plug wells and drip a little down the front on the exhaust manifold that would occasionally stink like burning wax. Cheap easy fix with a new felpro gasket.
