I picked up two Schwinn Suburban 3 Speed 1895-1995 Anniversary Addition bicycles. A men's and a woman's. A friend bought them for his parents in, he thinks, 2005. They have only been ridden 3 or 4 times. One says "madi in China" the other "made in Tiawan". Is this a cheaper version made for retailers like Wal-Mart? What is the approximate value? They are like new. As a daily rider, certainly worth the $125 I paid for the pair.

I'm guessing Schwinn went Walmart market a long time ago just like Mongoose. In the 70s and 80s they were both expensive high end bikes that could only be bought at mom and pop bike shops.

Our 2 Suburbans were 10 speeds built in 1974 +75-still in Chicago. I'd watch Craigslist for what the later are going for-good luck

Nonsense! The Schwinn Paramounts built in Wisconsin still fetch good cheddar.
