Purolator Air Filter Doesn't Fit!

General filter (oil & air) fitment issue is not exclusive to Purolator. There was a recent thead where FRAM cartridge filters didn't fit a particular application and the OP actually researched and measured several units. Does that mean FRAM is "junk" too? It's also a part number for a 'made in the USA' filter. I'd wager that if it were made elsewhere we'd hear how that's where the QA problems stem from.
