How often do you change your ATV or UTV oil? Every year. Every so many hours? Or the obvious when you go through high water crossings or deep mud?

Twice a year if not used a whole lot.

Every 25hours if you don't have an hour meter? So you basically have to guess or know that your machine seems to be running odd.

On my quad when shifting goes bad which is about 600 miles regardless of oil type or brand. On the maverick I'll do extended oci since it's a real job to change its oil

Once a year on my stuff.
Usually that is about 1000 miles, and 75-95 hours, IIRC.

About once a year or two, maybe 100 hrs, but its a 300 Kingquad with a 4L sump, that isn't driven too hard these days. I used to plow with it which was really working it hard and still changed it about the same interval.
If you are driving it hard I'd go by the manual at a minimum.

I changed the oil on my 05' Honda Rancher a year ago. I'll probably go another year on it, haven't ridden it that much.

I'm a bit obsessive with my quads; shared sump quads get 20 hour OCI max, non-shared sump get 40 hour OCI max. Too much dirt for me to go longer.

Manufacturer will give you a change interval, Mine is at 50hrs
