Lord save me. It would be better if that page could not be opened, but it is there, warts and all. It has been discussed and debunked here several times.

Anyway, as far as 507 oils, is there any stellar performing ones? I'm leaning toward LiquiMoly, but I'm open to anything and everything. I'm going to stick to the 10k mile OCI, and will be using OEM oil and air filters.
A new 507 specified oil a friend of mine is using in his TDI VW is called PP Euro LX 0W-30. It's not easy to get but if interested the US part # is 550043041-6.
This is a GTL synthetic with an unprecedented 204 viscosity index.
