Since a lot of people seem to be using their phones and tablets more than a notebook or desk top computer, I have rewritten my build site for the Corvair to be mobile friendly. The text will format and scroll according to your screen size. The thumbnail pictures can be tapped (then expanded once more to slide the full image around for detail, closing with an X in the corner). The Spanish site will be a couple more weeks.

Nice Corvair. That made R. NADER famous. Dont go doing hard curves with it. That Kombi stile rear suspension is very critical.

Not so critical as the right air pressure. It corners extremely well with 10 to 12 lbs less air in the front tires. But tell that to the average mechanic or attendant.

Ah, Corvairs. I owned two, a brand new 1963 Turbo Spyder coupe and a used 1965(Big change in the rear suspension) 4 carb Yenko convertible.

They were wonderful automobiles. I gymkanaed them in the Florida Keys.
