Oversize filter for John Deere D140. What's not to like about a bigger filter at half the price?
1999 Simplicity lawn tractor with Kohler CV-14 engine.
Out: Rotella T5 10w-30 and Motorcraft FL-910S (1 year on oil, 2 years on filter).
In: Amsoil Formula 4-Stroke 10w-30/SAE 30 and Fram Ultra. My intended interval for this oil & filter is 2 seasons.

And better quality! I cut open some of those expensive tiny filters and was not impressed. I now run the same Wix on my Deere.

Hah, exact same engine, but I drained unknown oil and replaced with GC 0w30.

Finished up winterizing all of the machines over the last few weeks -

Out - 1 quart NAPA full synthtic 5W-30 and 1 quart 10W-30, STP3600 filter...
In - 1 quart QSUD 5W-30 and 10W-30, DriveWorks DW-195 filter...
Normal fill is 56 ounces oil, with double oversized filter, 2 quarts exactly...
Regular filter is 2 inches long,
oversized filter is Fram 3614 (DW-241), 3 and a half inches, holds 4 more ounces oil...
double oversize is Fram 3600 (DW-195), just under 5 inches, holds 8 ounces more oil...
Filter sticks out like a giant hemmaroid...

I have a triple oversize story.
The dls3500 has a intek plus 500cc 20hp.
The current fill is nextgen maxlife 5w-20 and ultra8A, yes 8A. Will get dumped in the late spring in 25hours.

Thermal Arc Predator w/Honda GX620: Out, mostly Napa 15w-40. In, Mobil 1 TDT 15w-40. Removed Honda 15400-PR3 filter, replaced with Napa 7356

Just buttoned up a Chonda GX200 clone that included ARC racing billet rod, aluminum flywheel with 5 degree timing advance, 18lb valve springs, cone filter, header, and governor removed.
It's on a pig of full suspension go kart. Don't have a tach, but I doubt I'm going over 4500 rpm before running out of straight away in the yard. Torque converter is fully upshifting now though which keeps the revs down as well. Definitely faster!!
