zoeller sump pump is great but notorious for switch burning out.
its sealed but dsign [censored] or purposely made to fail it seems, since the design hasn't changed for years and switches burn every few years
its a sealed enclosure with an arm switch
seals leak water gets in switch burns>> crawl space full of water
I was thinking besides sealing with silicone around the seals and wires.
should I cover it with dielectric grease inside? so if the water gets in it will not short out the switch or at least not right away.
or is there another grease I can use to seal contacts
or should I use liquid tape instead and just seal them instead of using grease
