H3 yellow fog light bulbs

Tired of the clear fog light bulbs in my I35 and want to change them. There are several choices for yellow H3 bulbs on Ebay and Amazon. Anyone have a recommendation on a specific one?

For longevity, I have heard of people using stain glass yellow and just painting the fog light lens. Yellow bulbs don't last as long as uncoated bulbs.



On a I35 I would not do it. I would use Yellow bulbs like you suggest, looks better.

My car takes H11's for the fogs, I bought these:

so far, so good? ( I don't know that my fogs are aimed properly..) I can definitely see a yellow glow on the road in front of my car... and it looks Kinda cool....
soory i can't give you a better review, like WOW, I CAN REALLY SEE STUFF IN THE FOG!!! , but... meh.

bought them last Jan, and they haven't burned out yet...if that helps...

woman i work with, her husband either did the painting like vern said, or got a yellow film for the fogs on her blacked out Charger.... I kinda like the look of the yellow Bulb/clear lens, over the "always in yo face" yellow lens. with mine, when they're turned off, it just looks normal.

Yeah when my factory headlamps /noyka fog burn out, I'm going with osram night breakers/fog breakers respectively.

Daniel Stern lighting likes Duplicolor MetalCast yellow paint.

I use Yellow Lamin-X, since my fog lens is glass.
