Another question is there any oil leaks?

If there are, that may have to be fixed regardless of the oil consumption.

Usually, the valve cover and a lot of the seals are leaking.
We need to selectively changed them since there are a lot of seals. Then drive it till it gives up.

Why worry over a quart every three months?
