I just drive a new vehicle the same way I am going to drive it for the time I own it. No special procedures for "breaking in". I do change out the factory fill on all drive train components and engine before 3000 miles and refill, then go with normal OEM spec'd maintenance intervals. Never had a major engine or drive train problem in over 40 years.
