i use to use fl16002's and when i saw at cummins a cut open filter of this material i decided not to use these it looks like a white heavy cotton like material worried about too restrictive especially there were very little difference with the lf3681 specs that fleetguard sent me all specs same except stratospore filtered 100% at 30u and the 3681's filtered 95%at 30u...they both flowed the same and these filters have a initial restriction of 4.2 psid @ 5gpm.....try donaldson,wix,napa,carquest, and k&n all flow far better with donaldson p550965 flowing the best 0.5psig @ 3gpm
