The new jug doesn't show 2eha as the previous jug did but 'imo' that could mean one of two things. Prestone no longer uses 2eha in the AM/M, OR they are no longer including it on the jug listing for some reason. I could think of a reason or two why that would be either way, but they would be the same reasons.
I think only Prestone knows the answer to the 2eha question. Some other Dexclones don't list all ingredients including 2eha on the container. Without more information, I'm not completely convinced 2eha has been completely eliminated from the new formula. But either way, it is an interesting development.
Wonder what the "cor-guard" inhibitors are. Or are they strictly "proprietary"?
I'm not convinced they no longer use 2-EHA either....
'At this point with no more information', I'm leaning to it still containing it, just no longer on the jug. I note it still lists the same two first ingredients of the previous jug, ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol then it now says "proprietary." The last could be anything, but the first is what many owners manuals say to look for, but OM's tend to be very vague about AF type.
On the Peak website, Peak Global Lifetime OAT goes out of their way to say "non 2-EH formula".
Have to wait and see what Prestone does, but I'll assume it still has 2eha until it says otherwise.
