2000 Trans Am with 3.42 is about 1500 to 1600 going 70.
With the 4.10's right around 1950 going 70.

The Grand Prix going 70 is right around 2000.

The Truck is right around 2200 to 2300.

05 Camry 5-speed manual tranny....
@ 70mph ACTUAL speed (+2mph on the speedo): 3050rpm in 5th...

Don't know if people are using actual speed or their speedo as a measure (or if ever tested it against radar), so I thought I'd specify...

Every vehicle I have drove has been EXACTLY 2MPH off. The speedo always reads 2MPH high. Never understood that.

The Jeep turns ~2100 at 70 in 4th (0.69:1), ~3000 at 70 in 3rd (1:1). 3.73s in the diffs, 29" tall tires.

Probably saves us a few speeding tickets? I put 205/70R15 instead of 205/75R15's on the Tracker and didn't tell my wife of the slight speed difference, I figure its just a little safer to go a little slower.

Tracker at 60 mph(speedometer) is 2800 rpm, Focus is 2500rpm.

Most countries legislatures allow speedos to read high but not low, to prevent you from going faster than you think. This way you can't sue the manufacturer if you get a speeding ticket or get into an accident because you were traveling too fast.

Haha and I thought mine had something wrong with it. I looked at the rpms when the speedometer was going 72 but I'm really doing 70
