1. EM Plus:
http://ultra-gauge.com/ZC/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=56

The UltraGauge EM Plus is identical to the UltraGauge EM v1.2 except for the following additions:

Readiness Monitors
Performance Measurements
Additional Wide O2 Sensor support to track Stoichiometric AFR via Lambda

In addition, when a trouble code alarm occurs, the first trouble code found is displayed during the alarm event. Previously, the menu system had to be used to view the trouble code.

2. MX:
http://ultra-gauge.com/ZC/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=57

The UltraGauge MX is identical to the UltraGauge EM v1.2 except that the MX has the ability to POTENTIALLY access manufacturer specific gauges. Primarily intended to access the transmission temperature parameter on Ford and GM trucks

I think I like the improvements on the EM plus over the standard version; MX is not an advantage to me, as we don't own Ford or GM vehicles...

I have an EM Plus in my Accord. It works well. Absolutely identical to the EM but yes there are performance measurements (0-30, 0-60, so on and so forth).

I gave my EM to my Dad.

Im waiting for a device that has analog inputs for additional gauges that are not available over OBD such as Oil pressure, Oil temperature, Differential temperature, etc.

PLX devices has what you want

So is the MX gone now? I was going to suggest one to a friend for his 6L Powerstroke but if it can't do trans temp that's a big minus.
