We have no way of knowing if any of our gauges are accurate. I checked the same tire with all my gauges and threw away any that were more than 2 psi out from the others, but I don't know what's right. Anyway, how much matters?

This is the kind of accurate pressure test gauge that we do not need for tires ($810):

I have an analog longacre and it has treated me well so far. I paid about $50 for it.

It does read about 1 psi lower than all my other gauges though...

I have had that exact model in the past, and it worked very well (my younger son has it now and it still works fine).

I never compared it against other gauges though.

I now use the upgraded, ~$135.00 version of that digital gauge, the 53000 model.
