Hi, I want to move away from using the M1 synthetic grease in the ball joints and u-joints of my Jeep. I don't like the way it constantly weeps out of my gun or joints. I found here that it's a lithium complex type, so I'm looking for something compatible, chemistry-wise, to switch to. Any recommendations for a quality grease that's available at common autoparts stores?
Thanks!

I use Valvoline Durablend and never have a problem. If you want a fully synthetic grease, there is Valvoline Synpower.

You can get them at Carquest, and possibly at NAPA.

I have noticed that about m1 grease also.. its by far the worst offender I've ever used or seen at juicing

I've never had luck with any grease. Even some high end amsoil I had in my gun with the pressure removed ultimately separated into a big mess.

I have had the RED Mobil 1 greace and it too weeped out of my greace gun. I switched to the Valvoline Synpower grease and it looked a bit like clay, not creamy and I thought it was a bad tube. I haven't used either since.

I wouldn't have used M1 at all,and gone to your Chrysler dealer and ask for Mopar Multi Mileage Lube. Its long strand and contains barium .Its been around Chrysler since the 1960s anyway.

Mystik JT-6 Hi-Temp NLGI #2 is Lithium Complex, available at Wal-Mart and meets the stringent Spicer standards for U-Joints. It also meets NLGI GC-LB requirements, which means it is Nationally certified for the applications you specify. Being LC (like Mobil-1) it is certainly compatible w/the M-1. Also two other bonuses are no moly and, if you'll lock back the grease-gun handle after each use, it bleeds little, if any.

Been using valvoline synpower grease in my 14oz gun for the past couple years. I take the pressure off but have stores it upright as well as flat, through summer and wintrr in the garage with little to no weeping/dripping.

JT-6 is arguably one of the best greases that is on the shelf in most areas. To do better you need to look at the specialty oil companies. Amsoil, LE, Schaeffers, Texas Refinery, etc.
