Oversize Filter to replace PF 46

Does anyone know the oversize filter application to replace an AC PF46...goes on a 2004 Suburban K1500. Thanks

If there is no oversize replacement, will the PF46 handle a 7500 mile OCI with GC 0W-30?

There were others listed in Donaldson ..but had bigger gaskets. I converted the last few to WIX. Someone else may have this all worked out already.

I believe it was superseded by the PF48. Also the PF-53 is the long version if I'm not mistaken. I wouldn't really worry about filter size, but 7500 is getting up there for a nitrile ADBV IMHO.

Which appears to be a PF46 with a bypass valve in it. In wix they appear to be the same filter size wise.

PF59 is the longer filter used on the 4.8/5.3/6.0 truck engines through 2002. It has an ADBV.

I a bought a case of PF59 for my 2002 Silverado with 5.3 and I am also using them on my wifes Trailblazer with 4.2 I6. Nice solid filter.

 

[Blue99]

The Napa Gold filter number is 1522 for the PF59. It has a silicone ABDV and is a good choice for any start-up engine noise problems with the GM 5.3L engine.
