Hi I would like some help with finding an cross reference for the oil filter for my 2004 Kubota rtv 900. I haven't had much luck with finding one and think that the price of a oil filter at my dealer is outrages. My dealer wants $9.50 plus tax for an oil filter. the filter number is 15853-32430. Thanks in advance for the help.

My NAPA filter catalog shows this cross reference:

Kubota 15853-32430 = NAPA Gold 1358

My guess is that street price is about $5.50 +/-.

As always, please confirm the correct application yourself. Napa Golds are made by Wix and are considered very good filters

Want a WIX? add a 5 in front of the NAPA #
Want a NAPA .knock off the 5 from in front of the Wix #.

That's interesting Gary, how the cross reference numbers don't match. The Fram number cross references to the 1358. Why doesn't the Baldwin. They have much different diameters and bypass settings.

At Luberfiner, 15853-32430 crosses to their PH2808, which crosses to Wix/napa (5)1334. Now we have three different filters crossing to the Kubota number!

About ten years ago I attempted to use Baldwin filters on our farm equipment(John Deere, Kubota) and ran into the same scenario.

I sometimes wonder how often these aftermarket companies make mistakes or recommend a "will fit" filter.

JR, tell us what your final outcome is. At least measure your OEM filter and tell us which aftermarket is closer.
