Just remember, you get what you pay for.
I paid for unlimited Carfax reports when searching for a used car for son duty some years ago.
Just for grins, I ran two of our own cars with known history.
I found significant inaccuracies with both.
I kind of gave up on Carfax after that.

I did the same thing on a car I traded in. The carfax was full of junk that never happened. I was the sole owner and serviced the car myself at home. Suspicious!
