A question for any of you who use Baldwins:

Where is the bypass valve located (threaded or closed end)? I don't have the option of looking at these personally, but would like to try them. I have to drive quite a way to get to a dealer, or mail order them.

By the way, I like them on the threaded end!

Thank you,
Brian

With some exceptions, the threaded-end bypass filters are Wix and Motorcraft. At least some Wix's use closed-end, mainly for cost or engineering reasons.

I'm using a Baldwin B2HPG on my Chrysler (2.5L-V6). Same one used on Ford 289/302. BPV on the front end (threaded). I believe, for most Ford applications, they specify the BPV be on the front end. If however, I'm laboring under a misapprehension regarding my last statement - stay tuned, someone will be along shortly and straighten me out.
