If anybody is interested, this came from Dana, regarding the standard size filter for Jeep's 4.0..part # 1085.
"The correct oil filter for your application is the NAPA Gold 1085 part
number. It contains media rated 20 micron with a flow rate of 7-9 gpm.
Its bypass valve is set at 8-11 psid and it contains an anti-drain back
valve. Its static burst pressure is 365 psi and it holds 12.3 grams of
contaminates."
It would be nice if somebody took all the data everybody has about different filters' claims and put it in a table or something. I'd do it myself, but alas, I'm lazy, and I know it.
