I hear these can be replaced, with what ease can they be on an S-10?

(For down the road..) Mine look Bondo'd, and then they just stopped.

The other side is much worse.

Thank god this picture is from 30 feet away. I won't have to look it up from google street view.

Did you even fix it to pass emissions? Forget the rust just make it road worthy.

I bet that isnt all the rust....check those body mounts under the front floorboards. They love to collapse in a rusty "circle" around where the rubber cushion touches steel.

+1

Some day take a philips screwdriver and remove the door sill and pull up the carpet a bit on the drivers side. I'm betting you'll see what NHGUY is saying

You can buy replacement rockers made to fit from automotive suppliers . They can be welded on or for those without that I've seen them pop riveted on , sprayed with rocker guard and painted or just left black spraying them with black enamel paint .

Don't laugh, coupled with the chromed clamp-on exhaust tips they it adds
30HP

Seeing the vertical crease in the drivers door and the photo of the rocker damage on the lift it's accident damage that someone tried to cover instead of pulling it out

Worry about it down the road.

Focus on getting it running well and passing emissions.

Old pics. Took the sticker off. The OK4WD.com one too. Still have B&W sticker inside on floorboard. It's small. (Previous owner)

There is so much right with this picture.

Sport bike? Check.
Obsolete "Veedol Motor oil"? Check.
Obsolete single post floor lift? Roger.
Mechanic wearing a gold chain belt like a boss? You betcha.
Two racks of used tires? Why not.
Kitty litter to mop up the blood. Uh-huh.

Come to grips with the reality of this if that is even possible. The cost of the work will exceed the worth of the car. Get it running properly, pass all inspections, drive car, don't look back.

just cut the rockers completely off and spray with flat black paint. it looks pretty good, you forget all about rockers.

I posted this earlier on the thread, did you do it yet ?
