Hi all.

I was loaning our mazda to my mom and dad the other day. Apparently my dad saw it was a bit low on coolant and added about 0.25 litres of consentrated conventinal blue coolant for aluminium and cast iron engines/coolers. As far as i can see it is nap free.

However the car should use the green mazda lf22 coolant. Am i looking at future problems here after my dad mixed the lf22 with the bit og conventional blue? Will it start eating the engine or?

Thanks

Thanks all.

I can think of blue, red, yellow, pink, orange and green. Think it is about that.

Messured the Freezing point at the coolant today. It was - 57 celcius. Aint that to low? Can a coolant with a freezing point that low harm the system? Thanks all.

Fl22 is 55%/45%coolant to water but I don't think it equates to that low. I think you are only giving up cooling though.
