I attended the Junior Track Nats yesterday/last night (at 'T-Town' {Pennsy's Valley Preferred Velodrome}) , and it was good to see some kids who are dedicated to a sport and disciplined enough to train VERY hard to achieve their goals in their respective events, instead of just sitting inside texting and gaming their lives away while getting good and obese on garbage junk food.
I will say though, that most of them have MUCH MUCH better (and ridiculously more expensive) equipment than I EVER had at their age while competing (but they definitely deserved it, going by some of their performances).
I did not know what section this post should go in, but thought that at least here, some could understand it, or relate to it.
