Deciphering AC vent temperatures

I didn't want to get r-12 in my 134a gauges, so I had a shop with gauges do it.

Just checked my 04 saab that I think is slightly overcharged

In full sun, 98 F on the Tarmac, 49% RH, it's blowing 40-41F!

Older vehicles if they have been charged several times (slow leak) can get moisture in the system. So even if the pressures are fine they won't blow cold enough. Fix the leak and thoroughly vacuum.

Absolutely agree with that one. I had an 86 Lynx that blew a (to best describe it) looked like a steam out of the vents it was so cold. And that was in Louisiana in the middle of summer!
