AutoRX, 2nd treatment done, synthetic oil okay?

Hi all,

I have a '95 Volvo 850 Turbo that has 115k miles on the engine. Because of the turbocharger aspect I want to switch over to 10W-30 Mobil 1. And also because of summer coming up. Is two treatments (the over 100k treatment) of Auto-Rx enough to remove engine deposits and recondition the seals so that something large like my RMS won't go?

The car has been very well kept by one owner and I have a suspicion that it has been run on Castrol Synblend at the dealership.

I'd give it one last short (2.5-3k) run on a quality conventional (perhaps with a double strength dose of LC), then do the switch and don't look back.

I would tell anyone to use double LC since that is what it seems based on past threads.

Go with the Auto-Rx Maintenace Program with the oil of your choice. Please post after your first oil change (after running with 3 ounces) If your not impressed your bottle at N/C.
