Hello. Slick kicks is what people use at my track. I am thinking i am sure folks here can help out more. I want to know if anyone here has some home made tire sauce. Its for a 1/10 Buggy indoor clay track. Thanks for your input. I heard people use WD40 (but owner is not too happy); some use Simple Green; some use Windex.... how about you..?

Brake cleaner will soften your rc tires, that's what the top guys use, picked this up pitting with Mayfield and the JC guys when my son drove for J-Concepts. Really only used when cold or real hard slick track. Brake cleaner is also used for cleaning the tires before you glue them. I have seen guys use windex and simple green to clean before gluing but not for softening.

Oil of wintergreen will soften rubber also. I usually just change to a softer tire if that is what I need.
