I am very suspicious of anything that promises to fill in clkinder walls with tiny metal particles. Generally I am trying to get metal particles out of my engine.

I did enjoy the translation from French in the propaganda, though.

Sounds like those little miracle pellets that J.C Whitney used to peddle decades ago. If you dropped them into your spark plug holes and used their special oil additive, all your compression problems would be solved.

I always wondered what happened to the "miracle metals" when they no longer bonded to the worn cylinder walls. I imagine there were a lot of jammed up ring packs.

This stuff sounds like the exact same formulation as "Restore" with 'CSL' - copper, silver, and lead particles that plate to your cylinder walls. That stuff has been found by some members to work at helping old engines run a bit better.....

As an aside, all these upper cylinder products may work out just fine at doing whatever they claim, including those old pellets. I don't intend to demean anyone's efforts or talk anyone out of using them.

But while I'm no chemist, I just think some of the chemistry appears to defy basic principles from time to time - like how they keep these heat-fusing metallic materials out of the ring lands.

I guess in an old beater already staring at a major upper cylinder job, tossing $20-$30 at it with one of these products is rational, if only to experiment on the cheap.

I can't imagine that lead would ever bond to the cylinder walls of an engine considering the combustion temperatures involved. It might lubricate real well until it vaporizes off, but leaded gas was outlawed for a reason.
