Will get a 2011 chevy cruze tomorrow, ls model, auto 6 speed.

The 1.8L require a 5w30, I know castrol edge is dexos aproved but mehh, dont like castrol.

any other choice? PP?

Anything that says dexos1 on it will be fine.

Walmart even has 5 quarts of Pennzoil Synthetic Blend Dexos for $16.27, plus the oil filter is only $3.27, so you have a complete oil change for $20

Yup, that's right, they don't charge extra for a cartridge oil filter!

But of course, any full synthetic will be more than adequate for the OLM suggestion.

Also, Napa had their synthetic on sale for $3.49 a quart last month, but even though you missed it don't worry because they usually run that sale more than once per year. It is rebranded Synpower. The 5w30 meets dexos1.

Im running the QSUD and my friend is also running it in her Subaru--we both luv it. Cant beat the price and smoothness!!! 5-30 flavor in both. Give it a shot!!!
