Lad comments;
Viscosity has reduced but no fuel dilution has been detected.Was the oil level overfull when checked?Iron is elevared.Check the filer element for abnormal wear metal debris.Please inform the lab of any findings.Other wear levels are acceptable.Resample in 20,000 kms to check trends.

I rang the lab to explain that this run of oil was a more recent version of ACD30 with a virgin V40 of 69cst.The previous runs were a much older version which started out at 85cst.Not much else has changed between the two oils.I have changed the oil on their advice but would like your comments on whether I should have,other than the Iron everything looks pretty good for a long run.I note on some engines they have Iron condemnation figures of 120ppm.This engine has a Motorgard bypass filter which is changed every 5,000kms.8 litres of oil was added over this oil run,the engine holds 7 litres.

Fe is rising but that is totally expected with exposure. You'll need to set some condemenation limits; looks like Fe will be the first to target. It does not seem to be linear as your latest is 65 and the former was 41. I susepct there's not a lot of data on this engine, especially for extended OCIs. You're setting new data trends for yourself here.

Changing the bypass every 5k miles is certainly helping with frequent top-offs. You went through an entire sump, plus a bit.

I would run 20k km and sample, but not OCI, then sample again at 40k km. Then if the numbers look similarly solid, consider pushing past that.
