No one (well, I at least) don't doubt acetone's CLEANING abilities, it's the ability for it alone to increase fuel mileage in a clean engine that I question. BTW, I went back to the website where that article was originally published and the guy who posted it said a chemist or tribologist (I forget) told him it was only increasing efficiency by way of "decarboning" the fuel injection....
