STP air filters

I have a gift card for autozone and need a air filter for the Taurus. The Fram in it right now does not fit properly. It's sealed but can still see the orange between the two air intake pieces.
I know STP air filters are made by champion but does anyone know the efficiency or how good they are? Should I spend the money for a napa gold?

I have had great luck with them on our numerous cars. They can be made in England, Germany, USA, Mexico etc depending on the application. Good filters for the priice IMO

I have used them in GM applications with the best luck. They are good for the price.

As far as efficiency, no idea, but in my experience with my application, the fitment of STP filters is good. I'd use them again.

I went to go pick one up today but decided not to when I saw MADE IN CHINA printed on the filter. I got the techron instead. Off to napa I go for a napa gold.
