If you read the fine print in your owners manual, you will see that all turbo Subaru's are automatically severe operations. However, nice numbers for 7k miles. IMO, keep it up!

What does the oil look/smell/feel like after 7500? I can't see me letting go that long w/ how mine is at 4600...

I believe they've omitted that automatic severe operations on the turbo 2011+ manuals. I didn't see it the last time I went over the manual.

Can't judge oil by how it looks, but concentrated form it looks dark brownish on a paper towel. Let it sit for a day then it disperses then it looks golden yellow.

Oil smells like oil without gasoline contamination and feels like it's new and slippery (no grit).

KHP is correct. Turbo's are no longer automatically severe service.
