I've always wondered who made these bikes. Mine was made in 1998, and besides the tires/tubes needing to be replaced, it's been a good bike. I'm actually thinking of upgrading it a bit.

Also strange is that I got it here in the US, but they sell most of them in Canada?

My buddy thinks it's a hockey bike....

I thought they were only sold at Canadian Tire honestly...
A decent big box store brand I suppose, but that's about it.

What are you looking to upgrade on yours? You may not be able to change too much.

Alright well that stuff is definitely interchangeable. Things like brakes and suspension and drivetrain parts are not as easy to upgrade on bikes like that.

Any 26" mountain bike tire will work on your bike, and just about any seat should also fit.

CCM was an amalgimation of 4 Canadian bicyle manufacturers in the late 1800s to combat American Bicycle Company plans to build a plant in Canada. The original CCM went bankrupt in 1983 and was purchased by Procyle out of Quebec. They no longer list CCM as a brand on their website so who knows.

Still have 2 90s CCM Pursuits in the shed!
