Has anyone used VR-12?

I started seeing this product appear on the shelves here, which is supposed to "compensate and revitalize the natural evaporation of additives caused by the constant heating and cooling". Couldn't find anything about it on the forums.

According to an article in the local paper, it's supplied by Freezetone Products, Inc.

Coolant is in a closed system. What is there to replenish? There are tons of cars that have gone to 300k+ with generic off-the-shelf coolant and no major problems.

I guess I don't see the need for this...?

That's what I was thinking. Initially, I thought it was similar to RMI-25, but it doesn't appear to be.
