which one? just the cheapest i can get (within reason) anf du it after 500 miles? or could i run a diesel 15w-40 oil? i was thinkning that delo 400 would not work as well as say delvac 1300 due to a better base oil?

my reasoning is that if delo 400 is most comprised of group II+ and delvac group I /II than the group I oil has a higher solvency thant the two. its clean better thant the group II but not last as long as the group II. or am i off base here?

the cheapest and most economical would be to use chevron supreme (Havoline in the south) great price and several board members have used this dino oil for their auto-rx application

It is fine to use. SuperTech is fine, too, for about 1/2 the price. I decided to use the cheapest SL rated product at WalMart since it only has to last 2000 miles. Save the GTX for after the rinse phase.
