Tom Hnatiw Passed Away

I put this in racing because he announced SCCA WC and some other road racing series. Plus he was on Dream Car Garage and Sports Car Revolution. His voice was unmistakable. I really enjoyed those shows when they were on Speed, and will truly miss his announcing and hosting.

Thank you for passing along this information, but no doubt this is very sad news. I did watch Dream Car Garage and for some reason he reminded me so much of Benny Parsons (the late NASCAR great and TNT/ESPN analyst). I guess it's probably because, like Benny, Tom had a great sense of humor and was a good sport when his other co-hosts would pick on him, especially about his... uhh... large statue.

I think there's no doubt that Tom will be greatly missed. And boy I'll tell you, I also miss Benny a lot.
