That's what is on my oil cap. My mecanic told me i need absolutely synthetic. Like syntec cover the gf 3.

No. ISLAC GF-3? I bet that the GTX GF-5 you have in your sump right now would perform neck to neck with GF-3 synthetic oil in your 08 Accent for the OCI's you are comfortable with.
but why this is specified on the oil cap? what oil doesn't meet that spec?!
The GTX that is GF-5 rated exceeds the performance requirements of GF-3 and ILSAC is backwards capable meaning if a oil is GF-5 certified it exceeds the requirements of previous certifications. So the GF-5 certified oil you use today exceeds GF-3 certification, you can use GF-3 oil if you can find it but good luck it is some old stuff but there is some around if you look hard enough.
