I bought this truck used with about 200k on it and this is the first analysis I've done. I ran the oil for 5k and have now switch to a John Deere 0w40 synthetic, but may try a w30 in the future based on the info I've read here.
I haven't done much oil analysis, so I'm not sure about most of the numbers, but nothing is worrying me.

Great results. You could run the oil longer if you wanted. If the TBN is really 11.14 you could run it A LOT longer, but I don't think the TBN is really that high.

Was there any make-up oil added? This looks like an older CI-4 Plus formulation. If the reported values are correct this is absolutely the best report I have seen with Rotella in a 7.3.

I didn't add any new oil over the 5000 miles, but I would guess it was around a half quart or so down. I just checked the jug and its the triple T CJ-4. I was suspicious of the TBN too, but that's what the report said.
What would cause the higher oxidation and nitration?
